| A man is persuaded by his wife to carry his aged aunt, the woman who raised him as a child, to a nearby mountain and abandon her. In a Noh play on this theme, three pilgrims climb the mountain to view the full autumn moon where they meet the spirit of the old woman performing a dance in the moonlight. |
