Tenzin Yangzom: Tenzin's mother, Paldon was chosen for the resettlement program and later brought Tenzin, her eldest daughter, on a tourist visa in 1996 to join her. Tenzin likes American supermarkets: "Furrs. It's great. A little bit strange here. In India we don't have foods in one place, clothes in one place and shoes in one place. Here it's easy to go shopping because the facilities are good…We go [shopping] twice a week…We drink a lot of tea! Tibetan sweet tea and salty tea. My mom drinks sweet tea, but I like salty tea."
